Reporting to the Senior Director of PLM, in this contract role I was responsible for the product and project management of CatenaView – Ciena’s SNMP Access EMS (J2EE) software product offer for managing IP DSLAM network elements and their optical backhaul. Responsibilities included:

 Authored Functional Requirements Documents in order to guide the engineering implementation including CatenaView 4.x for IPTV applications, software policy and Ethernet OAM for IP DSLAM network elements.
 Updated and with consistent external messaging, re-wrote the external web site CatenaView product collateral.
 Developed and authored Product Plans, Road Maps and Release notes.
 Presented the scalable ADSL / VDSL access EMS solution, value proposition and migration plans to Tier 1 carrier customers.
 Key interface between regional account teams (sales) and s/w engineering.
 Managed 3rd party OSS / BSS developers (TL1) by being the main technical and commercial interface – program manager.
