Garrett Motzner's Summary
Programmer with experience in Web Design and Development, Including CMS work (Drupal, Joomla, etc.) and PHP frameworks (CakePHP, Kohana, code igniter). I was recently introduced to Ruby on Rails, and so far I'm impressed. Familiar with CSS, Javascript, (X)HTML, XML, PHP, and SQL languages (Primarily MySQL and SQLite). I also have experience in other areas of databases, Including OODB and NoSQL databases.
Currently studying Math & Computer Science at Mines. I've done projects in a variety of languages - primarily C(++) and Java, but also LISP, Python, Perl, PHP, Ruby, bash, and a few others. Interests in my field include hyper-intuitive interfaces, Virtual Reality systems, AI development, Algorithm Design, and Best Practices for Software Engineering.
I also have basic knowledge on a wide degree of subjects, and have casual interests in Design, Psychology, Marketing, Mind-Hacks, Physics, Nanotechnology, and many others, specially where they intersect with Computer Sciences.
My Ideal Job would be working at a medium sized 'think-tank' type company with a fun atmosphere, supportive of creative thinking, with an emphasis on well designed products with a 'polished' finish.

Internship as part of Field Session for Colorado School of Mines. Refactored and improved a reporting system for the various software and versions installed across clusters in the HPC environment at LANL. Improved the data collection scripts on the servers, and cleaned up/improved the web front-end (based on the CakePHP framework).
