I learned about the computer and internet by doing, sometimes failing and learning from my mistakes. I think outside the box because no one told me "You can't do that" as I was learning.
I have about 8 years internet experience with 2 as webmaster of my own site as well as others. I have been a member of many web 2.0 communities since before anyone called it web 2.0. I have placed many ads on the first page of searches using simple tactics but have changed to articles and blog posts to help clear the internet of blatant ads and replace it with informative copy.
I believe internet marketers can do away with spam by policing themselves and forcing informative copy instead of ads. I intend to promote this with my free blog network and offering training to help marketers get better results without posting ads all over the internet. Would you prefer 10,000 hits that purchased nothing or 10 that each purchased your product?
