Researched, designed and developed a novel multimodal interaction system for mobile robotics. Demonstrated technology prototype using Dr. Robot and iRobot Packbot platforms at Ft. Benning Robotics Rodeo 2012 and at outdoor military MOUT training site. As part of this effort, I researched and developed machine learning algorithms for gesture recognition from the Microsoft Kinect and a novel wearable gesture sensing suit that we developed in-house for control of ground robot platforms. Utilized open source speech recognition engine for mobile, offline speech recognition and synthesis to interact with robot team using voice commands.

Managed an IRAD-funded project from a major defense contractor to develop a methodology to measure human interpretability of information from Multi-INT sources. Planned and facilitated the conduct of a human subjects study data collection effort. In support of the data collection, I led the design and development of a novel multi-touch workstation that allowed analysts to view and rate information products.

Led initiative to rebrand/redesign Milcord.com website using a Mediawiki backend and a dynamic main splash page with rich interactivity powered by YUI and jQuery javascript frameworks. Responsible for Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and tracking website analytics. Deployed corporate blog to promote thought leadership.

Nominated by popular vote of my peers to become President of AdLab, but was vetoed by the Advising Professors due to not being enrolled as an advertising student as this is a highly coveted position for BU's top-rated advertising program.

Proposed the idea and led web design tutorials to improve quality of interactive media client work. Held office hours for advertising undergraduates in AdLab to consult in areas of interactive media, web design and use of Adobe product suite.
