When Bukola Ekundayo was 14 years old her father gave her an AOL account. Six months later she co-launched an e-zine for young women with her best friend. In time, it garnered over 1,000 subscribers. She took her passion for digital media to Northwestern University where she studied new media, politics and history.
After graduating in 2005, she joined a brand consultancy in New York to work on accounts for Masterfoods, Verizon FiOS and IBM. Clients have come to depend on Bukola for her knowledge of brand management, online and social media promotion strategies. She continues to help companies and people tell engaging stories about their brands as a Marketing Consultant based out of New York City.
She recently launched Ms. Pixel, a blog where she explores the love/hate relationship between gamers and publishers as social media amplifies the voices of gamers worldwide.
