Bryony is the owner of Clear Thought Consulting Ltd, a management consultancy specialising in marketing. We work with small businesses - to equip them with the marketing strategies, skills, suppliers and set-up that they need to become bigger businesses.
Bryony established Clear Thought Consulting in 2008, following a 12 year career in marketing services, in which she occupied senior roles on both sides of the client/agency relationship. Following her first marketing role in charity fundraising in the late nineties, Bryony's formative years were spent with technology marketing agency, Mason Zimbler. Whilst there, she was responsible for the agency's own marketing and also worked her way up to Senior Account Manager on the Microsoft account. Working freelance whilst securing an MBA with distinction, Bryony undertook an award-winning strategic customer management project for database specialists ClarityBlue, where she subsequently became Director of Marketing. When the business was acquired by Experian, her role expanded to cover marketing for the company's UK integrated marketing business.
Bryony also tutors for Cambridge Marketing College, delivering the Marketing Communications module of the CIM Professional Diploma via intensive weekend courses in Bristol, UK.
Clients have included: Experian, Microsoft, Lloyds TSB, Quantum, IBM, Dell, Fraudscreen, Gradwell and ClarityBlue amongst others.

Clear Thought typically comes into play when the MD, or owner manager, gets to the point where they know they need to be doing more on the marketing front, but is not quite sure how to go about it. By the end of a Clear Thought engagement, they will have the confidence, systems, skills, staff and suppliers to run an effective marketing operation for their business.
This often involves an intense initial set-up project, which might include systems, staff and supplier improvements, and then moves into an ongoing advisory / coaching relationship.
Clear Thought also works with marketing agencies, to help them get the most from their clients - usually by working with that client to equip them with the skills to work successfully with marketing suppliers.
