In this position, I led both the Innovation and Design teams for Target's Assets Protection group. The Design Team was responsible for the design and support of all of Target's new and remodel facilities worldwide - including new stores, remodel stores, distribution centers, domestic/international corporate office locations, and unique special projects. The Innovation Team was responsible for new technology development, including investigation tools, IP based video, mobility strategies, and related projects.

* Development & deployment of industry leading Internet Protocol (IP) based video system dubbed "Target Video Solutions"
* Early development and pilot of Video Analytic software
* Developed unique partnership with Segway, Inc. for parking lot patrol vehicle deployed in nearly 200 stores - achieving a significant reduction in parking lot crime.

In this role, as a part of the creation of Target's Crisis Management Team, I was responsible for the development of tools, technologies, processes, and best practices that helped our corporation prepare, respond, and recover from crisis situations stretching from single store location incidents to major incidents such as homicides, workplace violence incidents, and Hurricanes Katrina, Rita, and Wilma.
Highlights:
* Led development, design, and implementation of Target's Corporate Command Center (C3) - a facility designed to monitor Target's worldwide operations in real-time while providing a location to help our stores return to business as usual following an incident.
* Led day to day operations and support on a rotating basis for corporation's response to Hurricanes Katrina, Rita, and Wilma.
