Writing is one expression of the priorities in my life to serve others, to follow God, and to lead by example. My most valued titles are (in order): Christian, husband, dad, minister, and author. My experience is varied, and my goals are simple...to serve God and to serve others. To lead with integrity and to make disciples through teaching, preaching, writing, and mentoring.

I have served in multiple churches of various sizes in different demographic and socioeconomic settings. I have served the denomination (Southern Baptist Convention) on the local, associational, state, and national levels. I've enjoyed all the challenges I have faced because it is in the context of working with others we have seen the shared experience of success and accomplishment.
