A Canadian national, Bryan began his professional career at McMaster University assisting Professors with research on health education delivery methods and HIV/AIDS interventions. In mid 2004 he joined the Ontario Public Service, researching elder abuse/neglect, and health policies and advocacy services for mental health consumers.
In March 2005 he joined the International Centre for Migration and Health (ICMH) in Geneva where he was the focal point for research on the public health impact of the Tsunami on Internally Displaced People in South Asia. He was later selected to the Needs Assessment arm of multi-agency Tsunami Evaluation Coalition.
Bryan has since returned to Toronto to complete a Master of Public Health (MPH). With a particular interest in migration, health and security, he hopes to re-emerge in the fight for health and human rights for all people during crises and in peace.
