Embedded aerospace real-time software engineer for almost 15 years.
Ruby is my current passion. I use it everyday to help me with almost every task including:
- building Ada95 code,
- finding and executing Ada unit tests,
- interfacing to an emulator to program flash,
- executing system tests that communicate over CAN,
- analyzing data and
- tracking task time.

During this industrial placement year as part of my degree, I automated monthly data transfers between PC, VMS and UNIX platforms to populate a Progress 4GL database and developed an interface for printing graphs. Other duties included administration of a small UNIX network and training users.
