- Enterprise-wide software deployment and maintenance.
- Member of international team deploying software used by a CSC customer with 38,000 employees. Programs include StarOffice, Firefox, and the Java Desktop System.
- Configure and deploy Mozilla-based products to a 38,000-user environment. Integrate corporate policies and LDAP directory information into thunderbird and firefox autoconfig (AKA Mission Control) to automatically set user preferences according to the customer's specification.
- Architected an enterprise-wide application tracking system to help the customer visualize monthly usage. The system collects roughly 60,000 reports per month tracking usage of some 35 applications. Kept close communication with the customer from requirements documentation to post-deployment performance tuning.
- Lead developer on whole-company operating system upgrade. Advised the customer's global team on desktop environment customizations to ensure that all employees work in a standard environment. Improved maintainability, reduced complexity, adhered to legal guidelines such as SOX. Customer asked we perform the deployment in half the time of the previous two and my team delivered.
- Communicate with customers regarding project requirements, implementations and close-down. Strive to keep project documents concise.
- Use subversion to house configurations and source code enabling rapid turn-around on many new projects.
