My career has spanned 19 years and across all facets of the software business – Sales, Marketing, Service and most deeply in Software Development. My experience is spans 5 organizations – WebTrends Inc (Analytics); Infopia Inc. (eCommerce); Pivotal Corporation (CRM); Simba Technologies (Database connectivity) and British Columbia Institute of Technology (applied research in AI and Multi-media).
My current role at Webtrends is leading the Engineering and Hosted Operations teams. WebTrends provides both On-Demand (SaaS) and On-Premise software solutions, is a global company offering services and solutions to over 20,000 customers from medium sized business to large, Fortune 1000 enterprises.
While at Infopia I lead the Engineering and Hosted Operations teams. Infopia’s eCommerce solution collaborates and makes available in a single solution a rich eco-system of partners such as eBay, Amazon, Google, Paypal and over 30 other providers of eCommerce services.
My roles at Pivotal spanned Engineering, Product Management, Program Management and Customer Service. From 2003 to 2005 I served as Senior Vice President, Products where I provided leadership to Pivotal's global 200 person R&D organization covering all aspects of the product development lifecycle, including product planning and positioning, requirements, development, quality assurance, product release, product maintenance and product end of life.
At Simba my roles included Development Management, Business Development, Sales, Sales leadership and overall General Management of a complete business unit. In this last role, I managed all aspects of the $4 million data connectivity business, including, sales, marketing, service, product development, and quality assurance.
