Brian Frank’s Summary

With a view to the future of media & communications, a background in social science and philosophy, nearly a decade communicating directly with consumers in a couple of the most demanding industries, bolstered by thousands of research-hours invested in *21st century solutions,* I'm uniquely qualified to create new value today.

My formal work experience runs from sales and service to training. I naturally gravitate to knowledge- and thought-leadership roles. My thinking often challenges orthodoxies but it's always grounded in both practice and theory (and it's never at the expense of meeting assigned performance targets, which I have a history of surpassing). Informally, this is a role I've assumed within London as an advocate and community organizer for digital media, via speaking engagements, blogging, and groups.

As an independent researcher I'm fluent in current business cases and literature. Further, I've spent years diving deep beneath the surface to understand human fundamentals. I'm conversant in the important work coming out of psychology and economics on motivation, creativity, learning, group dynamics, well-being, choice architecture, etc. Some of my insights have been recognized and shared by prominent global thought leaders.

More importantly I've learned to learn very quickly and rapid-prototype methodologies on an as-required basis to address unprecedented challenges.

As an entrepreneur I appreciate the necessity of investing not just in knowledge but in *knowledge capital* that can be marketed and reinvested, which I do via the company I founded, Open Conceptual.

And as a social media practitioner I stay in the flow of emerging trends. I'm an early adopter of the latest digital media applications, which I continuously re-integrate into my existing web presence -- and I'm always eager to share.
