As a step outside the technology, I started Xerces Ventures along with three colleagues, to venture into the F&B industry. As a first step we started a coffee shop, called YACS, expanding to either YACS: Another Coffee Shop or Yet Another Coffee Shop depending on who was listening.
Since then, we have expanded into various other locations, focusing on providing a varied menu of coffees, ice-creams and snacks.

Studying at PESIT was a very different experience compared to the usual Engineering college. While people did, and still do, mock PESIT as being a 'school' instead of a 'college', I found that the additional emphasis on discipline brought about an extra focus on the subject matter, and led us to have a deeper knowledge of the subject matter.
