A proficient Project Manager that has lead significant investment and B2B projects within the Global Network Services division of American Express (AXP) - working across numerous Bank Partners across EMEA.
I have developed significant skills and experience during the last 5 years that I have worked for AXP. In March 2007, I undertook a 3mths secondment with Alpha Bank Greece, working on enhancements to their Loyalty programme. In September 2008, I undertook a 2mths consultancy assignment with Parex Banka Latvia, to support the planning and scoping of a significant investment initiative within the bank.
Key examples of work include:
- Led the end-to-end implementation and launch of two emerging markets in EMEA - Albania and FYROM (Macedonia).
- Supported the launch of Latvia (Parex Banka), Hungary (OTP Bank), Romania (Bancpost), Russia (RSB) and MBNA UK (card launch).
- Led the Interactive website implementation of Hungary, Latvia, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Bosnia.
- Became the SME in the Interactive domain, and provided consultative support to my colleagues in the US, JAPA and LAC.
- Analysed and determined the process re-engineering approach to support the areas of: Electronic Payment Advice (EPA), Website Implementations, Airline Certifications and Chip Card Certifications.
In March 2008, I was promoted to a Senior Project Manager position within GNS.
I joined AXP as part of the Masters (Technologies) Graduate Programme, where I undertook a 2yr programme within the AXP Technologies division of the company. Concurrent to this, AXP sponsored a Master of Science degree with the University of Sussex, which I completed in 2002, and was awarded a Pass with Distinction.
Going forward, I am keen to look for enhanced opportunities that would widen my scope and experience in the PM-field, and broaden my networking abilities within the Payment Solutions arena. Possibly leading into a longer team position in a Business Development function.
