Brian has been an integral part of creative design teams for over twenty-five years. In that time he has held a variety of roles, from Art Director of Granitar Corporation building e-commerce web sites and intranets for Fortune 500 Companies to Creative Director of LID creating branding and online strategies for many clients, including Bose Corporation, Fidelity Investments, Fallon Community Health Plan, Cingular, CCM, and both the American and National Hockey League.
Brian’s career before Creative Concepts includes years of valuable award-winning experience in the graphic arts field, working hands-on with clients to develop their online brand strategies from initial concept creation to completion. Brian is well versed in all aspects of illustration, animation, and graphic design techniques, not only with high-end internet graphics but also with traditional marketing solutions such as corporate logo design and quality print collateral.
In addition to his current role, Brian is on the Professional Advisory Panel for Mount Wachusett Community College for the advancement of their Computer Graphics Degree program. He also teaches computer design courses through Continuing Education at Massachusetts College of Art in Boston.
Brian earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration from Massachusetts College of Art where he received Academic Honors and had a major interest in computer graphics, print, and color theory. He has done certified post-graduate studies at the American Graphics Institute, and professional training at Cyber Solutions, Inc. and the Adobe Professional Training Series.

It has been one of my greater joys in my career to give back to the creative community where I first got my start - MassArt. I currently have the privilege of being an instructor at Massachusetts College of Art in their Continuing Education Department. I teach introduction Introduction to Adobe CS2 and I also Teach an Introduction to Web Design course.
My students range in age and experience and most are professionals working in the graphic arts, or photographers. Courses are structured to get results that students can adapt to their personal work flow or other specific professional needs. Questions are always welcomed.

Lucier Illustration & Design has grown beyond my wildest dreams, I am currently looking to partner with teams of savvy designers and developers who need strong creative skills. I bring over 25 years of award-winning experience to the success of the team.
My ideal company would have vision to mix technical growth and creativity that will produce new markets for their clients. I realize with the web, PDAs and cell phones surfing, the cyber marketplace is increasingly more competitive, expandable, and lucrative. I want to be with a company ready to meet that challenge and provide new revenue streams for their clients today and tomorrow.
Find out why some of New England's largest firms and corporations have turned to LID.com for creative solutions for their graphic communication needs. LID's in-depth knowledge of interactive and print technologies, down to earth approach and quick wit makes even the most strenuous deadlines function on a smooth schedule.

While working at the Agency in Marlboro I was responsible for creative services support for advanced Photo Shop and Adobe Illustrator skills for a variety of clients and projects. I worked with an exceptionally talented team of great graphic designers that functioned as a team force of collaborative efforts.
I also collaborated on multiple large-scale Flash and other interactive projects to promote online participation in the investing plans. In addition to those duties I was responsible for mentoring and advanced training techniques for the entire creative staff. It was fun and I met some great people.

January 2001 — November 2001 (11 months)
I reported directly to the Creative Director and was responsible for leading, training, and mentoring of the interactive design team. We always pushed the envelope of interface design possibilities.
Solutions were created to work in collaboration with many different back-end application software developers, and disciplines to mold function into optimized interface user-experiences.
It was challenging and rewarding to see the entire process take focus on form and function, then transform the concept of the site into an extension of the client's brand identity.

My interests range from fine art to real estate. My early days found me airbrushing motorcycles, cars and vans. Nowadays I'm most happy holding a mouse. Recently I've been elected as President of the www.nwcla.com where we're educating & helping members be more responsible, accountable landlords in the state of Massachusetts. We have monthly open forums on a variety of topics for landlords. We are involved in our communities and provide safe, clean, affordable housing for families in our communities where we live. I also play drums in our church's worship band and previously had toured the local club circuit in North Eastern New England. In my spare time I enjoy being with family and friends. I also love warm tropical beaches whenever I can. My vacations for the past five years have all been accompanied by the mobile design unit (G4 Mac laptop) so I can keep on top of my game, while keeping up on my tan.
