Prior to coming back to school, Brian spent over a decade working as an engineer in the power industry. Brian spent six of those years working in intensive cross-cultural contexts with Japanese co-workers.

Brian's interest in economics was sparked while working on his MBA and after traveling around the world. He was both puzzled and heartbroken by the disparities in economic conditions between nations.
