I have a commit bit to the perl core to update the documentation, sync the perlfaq documents (which I also maintain). Although most committers apply documentation patches as people submit them, I find and patch documentation as I find problems. My main goal is to update the example code to show modern Perl practice and pro-actively improve the documentation.
