Brian Butters, a Full Time AmeriCorps member serving citizens in the Anchorage community as I am a lead computer instructor and a Career Mentor at Nine Star Education and Employment Services. I believe that all individuals are teachable; I assess people's strengths and assist in resume composition. I am a strong advocate for people with disabilities. I do not allow my own disability to prevent myself from achieving success and take every opportunity to learn. As a public speaker, I share various disability issues to increase awareness and employment for people with disabilities. I practice the advice I share with others and live my life by example and hopes that the quality of my work and the outcomes will be my legacy. I truly seek my education; the education that started long ago and the education that will never end. I am very active in my faith as a proclaimed re-born Christian. I believe it is important to know what your beliefs are and what you stand for. My uppermost goal is to become a great professor at a college university in the field of computer sciences. Where ever life leads me, I am ready and willing to serve the callings of tomorrow's future. May the force be with you and your day be full of joy.
