Business/organizational problem solving, innovation, and implementing ideas are my "fastballs". I thrive on discovery and developing new strategies that can produce quantifiable results for companies, non-profit organizations and individuals.
My expertise and results in branding and business development have enabled companies to reach new audiences, position their products and services as market leaders, and quickly build rapport with current and future customers.
I've increased sales 800% my first 18 months as EVP, I secured a state wide contract that generated 900k for a start-up, I created a unique Value Proposition for a 1.5 billion dollar distributorship in a mature market, I've generated over 100% EBITDA on marketing campaigns, etc. I've also written a book and training series that is used domestically and internationally (thanks to a great publisher).
My experience spans several industries – I dive into new fields, ask the crucial (Freakonomics) questions, identify the "hidden truth", and discover new alternatives to produce results. I resemble the individual Daniel Pink describes in his book "A Whole New Mind" - I create novelty and nuance not routine, I craft emotion into facts and figures, and I create "stories" that differentiate more than design.
I'm passionate about making difference here and around the world. I'm also a writer who strives to translate complex concepts into simple stories for others to enjoy.

October 2008 — Present (1 year 3 months)
Co-founder of an organization dedicated to providing unique tools and information that equip CEOs of emerging companies (both domestic and international) to survive and thrive through the inevitable adolescence of business known as No Man's Land. Currently less than 5% of growing entrepreneurial ventures successfully transition No Man's Land, yet these organizations represent over 60% of jobs in the United States.
4M Navigator also supports all legislative efforts to support emerging companies including The Bridge Act (offering tax deferrals to companies under $10 million in annual revenues) which could come to a vote in the first quarter of 2009. This bill alone, according to the Kaufman Foundation, could generate over 600,000 new jobs.
