September 2006 — Present (2 years 11 months)
I opened this video production business in the fall of 2006, and it has proven very successful to date. I continue to add more clients and more projects every quarter. I act primarily as a Video Project Director, which includes all video production tasks "from script to screen", including creative development, videography, editing, and distribution to DVD, television and web. I also offer some graphic design and website services. My clients mainly include corporations, realty, non-profits, museums and universities. Also, theatrical short and feature film scripts are in the works for future projects that I hope to produce.

September 2005 — September 2006 (1 year 1 month)
Acted as Director of the Active Media Department at this non-profit dedicated to inspiring youth to live healthy, happy, active lives through technology and fitness programs. I was responsible for developing all aspects of the media department from its inception, including timelines and deliverables, hiring and training a staff of 8 media creatives, purchasing all equipment, profit and loss statements, and drafting development plans for future projects. I directly oversaw all video/audio/photography projects including promotional videos, recruitment videos, psa’s, and web videos. Helped design, create content, and launch 3 different websites involved with our organization’s mission to keep kids healthy and staying in school. In this corporate environment with over 15 full-time employees, I learned communication skills, client and corporate relationships, time and budget management, staff management, website development, and video production.
