I am currently a student at the Art Institute of Philadelphia, and am pursuing my BFA in Web Design & Interactive media. I am aiming to graduate from the 4 year program in 2 years, and wish to further my education with a MFA. I have been doing web design for about 6 years, and have a true passion for it.

• Managing 7 servers distributed throughout Europe. 5 web servers, 1 database server (mySQL), and 1 cache server (to cache the pages into HTML)
• Creating PHP backend to manage display of site, statistics, users, video submission forms, submission moderation, along with caching scripts.
• Creating spiders to spider 35 different video sites
o Spider receives video link (youtube, megavideo)
o Spider obtains video information:
• Title
• Duration
• Views
• Date
o Spider deobfuscates direct link to FLV file
• Some sites (megavideo.com 56.com etc) obfuscate their links to FLVs so that other sites cannot directly hotlink to them. It was my job to figure out how they encoded the FLV links, and break the obfuscation scheme, and then program an automated way.
o Place video information into database
• Creating a way to obfuscate direct links to the videos we have spidered, so that other competing sites cannot spider us.
