Brendan Darby’s Summary

So, yeah. The whole football thing didn't work out. I guess I should have figured it out when my O-line coach asked me "What do you want to do? You know, for a REAL job." Or when I got an overall rating of 60 out of 100 in John Madden Football (a 61 for awareness? Uh, I'm aware that you stink at rating players John, does that count for anything?).

I guess this is the part where I say something like:
Highly organized, motivated and competitive individual with experience in developing, influencing and executing sales, marketing and brand management.

Also, I have what can best be described as the "Eye of the Tiger". It's contagious.

Our mission is to build a bridge between retired NFL players and amateur football players to strengthen the game of football through the sharing of knowledge. We operate a number of platforms that seek to accomplish this mission. 1) We run free leadership and football skills camps for elite high school football players that are coached by retired NFL players. The first camp is in Oakland, CA in July 07, with more camps expanding nationally in 2008. 2) We publish a free email newsletter that is written by former NFL players. The Relentless email gives young players insight into training tips, life lessons, football history, and more all from the perspective of football's greatest players. 3) We operate a toll free hotline for retired players in dire need financial situations (1-888-NFL-VETS) which provides players in need with free grant application underwriting services.
