Still in his early 30’s, Braun Mincher has been a successful entrepreneur for over 19 years in a diverse variety of successful businesses.
A highly driven and motivated individual, he was a self-made millionaire before the age of 25 and able to "retire" a multi-millionaire before 30, despite dropping out of college to grow his first business. His accomplishments have earned him the prestigious Ernst & Young / Inc. Magazine “Entrepreneur of the Year” award and repeat appearances on national TV, including the NBC “Today Show” and with Neil Cavuto on the FOX Business Channel, in addition to frequently being quoted in numerous business publications.
After the sale of his telecom company in 2004 (CTI), Braun became a passionate financial literacy advocate and has worked tirelessly to get basic financial education classes integrated into the high school curriculum and also made a graduation requirement. He has authored an award-winning book on the subject and was the executive producer of a documentary movie exposing the state of financial illiteracy in America.
Braun is an energetic, charismatic and knowledgeable professional public speaker to groups of all sizes on most entrepreneurial and personal finance topics. He is an FAA licensed aircraft pilot (land & sea) who enjoys flying (he has a Cessna 182), boating / wakeboarding, SCUBA diving and traveling both domestically and internationally, recently returning from business trips to South Africa and India. In a previous life, Braun was also a formula racecar driver.
With the recent expiration of his non-compete agreement, Braun's next venture is a return to his telecom roots with the nationwide launch of a new and revolutionary "hosted" business phone system platform, leveraging the power of technology (VoIP) to provide better functionality and cost savings to businesses during these challenging economic times. Stay tuned for details or check out Braun's websites for more information!

PCG is a telecommunications firm that I co-founded in 1996. With the recent expiration of my non-compete agreement, I will be re-taking the helm of PCG in the summer of 2009. Our customer-centric company serves 2 business niches with our unique divisions:
CONSULTING - Our signature offering is a contingency-based "bill auditing and analysis" service of business telecom bills. We specialize in working with corporations that spend at least $2,500 per month on the combined cost of Local Phone Service, Long Distance, WAN Network (Internet, T1's, MPLS, etc.) and Wireless Cellular Phones. Generally, our SMB clients are big enough to spend significantly on telecom, but not quite big enough to have their own telecom manager on staff -- that's where PCG comes in. Our goal is to help clients do everything related to telecom better, faster and cheaper (e.g. more efficiently) and our unique consulting approach creates an alignment of interest with our valued clients.
HOSTED PHONE SYSTEMS (PBX) - The days of purchasing, depreciating and maintaining a "premise-based" business phone system are numbered. By creatively leveraging new technology properly (VoIP), we now offer a "hosted" phone system platform for business customers with 2 to 2,000 employees, geographically disbursed anywhere in the country or around the world. Benefits are NO capital investment; just a monthly cost of about $50 per user which includes the phone set, local phone lines and ALL outbound long distance. We think that we have built a better mouse trap (so to speak...) and really enjoy sharing the business case for this new phone system solution with others.

I am a ridiculously passionate advocate for Financial Literacy. My ultimate goal is to get Financial Literacy classes required in the school system nationwide (currently, only 3 states have this). Details: http://www.BraunMincher.com.
Author: “The Secrets of Money: A Guide for Everyone on Practical Financial Literacy.” It’s an entertaining read of my entrepreneurial story and uses a conversational style to teach EVERYONE what they should learn in school or at home, but rarely do. Get your copy on Amazon or wherever books are sold. Quantity discounts available.
Executive Producer: “Secrets of Money: The Documentary Movie” – scheduled to be released in mid-2009 (www.SecretsOfMoneyMovie.com). This shocking feature-length film exposes the state of Financial Literacy (Illiteracy) in America and offers suggested solutions. We traveled the country – coast to coast – for 3 months and interviewed 100+ educators, students/parents, government officials, celebrities and financial experts to get their perspective on the importance of financial literacy in the school system; you will not believe what they said.

As a top nationwide AltiGen PBX dealer, CTI was an early leader in the sale, service, support and training for leading-edge VoIP phone systems to business customers. CTI pioneered the unique "AltiSupport" program which provided "branded" 24x7x365 remote technical support to other AltiGen dealers, and we also launched the exclusive "AltiTraining" 2/3/4-day "hands-on" administrator training and certification classes which what the only AltiGen authorized center in the world who could issue the "AltiGen Certified Engineer" (ACE) professional designation.
