Brandy Karl is a copyright attorney. She is currently a Residential Fellow at Stanford Law School’s Center for Internet & Society.
Prior to becoming a residential fellow at CIS, Brandy practiced copyright and trademark law in Boston as principal of her own firm.
Brandy is a 2001 graduate of MIT (S.B. Political Science, minor in literature) and a 2004 graduate of Boston University School of Law (cum laude, honors concentration in IP). At BUSL she was named a Paul J. Liacos Distinguished Scholar and was also an Articles Editor for the Journal of Science and Technology Law.
Brandy is licensed to practice in Massachusetts and the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
