Software engineer and architect with ten years experience. I currently work for Microsoft as a Program Manager in their BPOS Engineering Core (R&D) division helping build cloud computing solutions for customers around the world.
I love hard problems around software architecture, concurrency, parallel programs, functional programming and semantic reasoning.
Most recent experience was helping lead a $75 million dollar re-invention of an insurance company's information systems at AMIG, a subsidiary of Munich Re, including their first steps in to SOA and introducing a new B2B platform that drove partnerships with eSurance, Harley-Davidson and others.
In 2002 started The Planning Studio Inc., a startup focused on developing networked collaboration technologies for urban planning and community development corporations.
