As Guy Kawasaki says, “gotta have a mantra,” so my mantra (which I borrowed from some of the best) is, “ Often Wrong, Never in Doubt.” I’m an entrepreneur, startup junkie, product & marketing guy (who has "carried a bag"), free-skier, golfer and music lover. I've been in tech for the past 15 years and have loved every minute of it. I ran the corporate gamut for a while and realized one thing: corporate sucks and startup is nirvana.
I help support entrepreneurs who create cool and "purple” startups. I dabble mostly in early-stage tech companies, but I also work with early-stage consumer brands which blend nicely with the Web.
In particular, I help startups improve their launch strategies by focusing on product strategy, user/customer experience, Web & social marketing, demand management, community evangelism and sales & bizdev 2.0 strategies.
I established my professional reputation as a software marketing and sales guy at SalesLogix and ACT! Software. Recently I was part of the founding team at another Pat Sullivan startup called Flypaper, where I helped lay the launch foundation.
