Brandon has spent eight years in the alarm industry, working for some of the fastest growing summer-sales companies in the nation. He has specialized in architecting and building technology solutions that have created a scalable foundation for two separate Inc. 500 companies.
He was the chief architect for two web-based CRM solutions that tracked pre-sales, sales, installations, customer service, inventory, payroll, and workflow management. Specializing in Microsoft technologies (SQL Server, ASP.NET, XML, Web Services), he has utilized open architecture to integrate with several third-party components to create a fully-integrated solution (paperwork scanning, VOIP/IVR/Skill-based call center routing, personal credit check/scores, EDI, etc).
After spending a year implementing and deploying a Syberworks Learning Management System (LMS) for the industry-recognized "Bay University" at Bay Alarm, the largest independently owned and operated alarm company in the nation, Brandon ventured outside the alarm industry to work for Mozy/EMC.
In October 2007, EMC acquired Mozy for $76 million. In 2008, the Mozy and Pi business units were merged into a new EMC company, Decho. Brandon has served in various deployment/implementation roles interfacing with Decho's strategic partners in the U.S., Canada, China, U.K., and Germany. Brandon's technical background and strong communication skills have helped Decho partners implement and deploy the Decho/Mozy product in various strategic channels.
Technology, strong communication skills, superb business aptitude, and a craving to understand and solve complicated problems. Asks the right questions to really understand the problem, and is flexible enough to find the right solutions. Constantly refining the application of Dale Carnegie principles in his personal and professional life.
