Brandon W. Ligthart has always been interested in the business side of the media world. As a Southern California resident, Mr. Ligthart has his finger on the pulse of the media industry. A graduate of the California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly) with a BS in business, Mr. Ligthart could have chosen to work at any of the big-name studios in the LA area, but instead he chose to go into business for himself. Brandon Ligthart’s first media venture came in the way of Light Rain Entertainment, a production company which released numerous films. Brandon Ligthart also owned and operated another media company, Media Display, which he sold in 2006. Mr. Ligthart sold Media Display in 2006 to focus his attention on his current venture as CEO of the Monthly Mailer Magazine family of direct mail magazines. Monthly Mailer Magazine is a direct mail publication which features advertising and special offers from businesses local to the mailing area. Bound into an attractive, glossy paged magazine, The Monthly Mailer is delivered to hundreds of thousands of homes throughout Southern California and Hawaii, and is published under the names OC Monthly, South Bay Monthly and Aloha Monthly. Since signing on as the CEO of The Monthly Mailer magazines, Brandon Ligthart has seen business grow tremendously, from a small publication to becoming a multi-million dollar advertising company in just three short years. As CEO of the Monthly Mailer Magazines, Brandon Ligthart oversees all aspects of the magazine’s publication, as well as supervision of the magazine’s staff, and communication with the magazine’s numerous advertisers and distributors. In his free time, Brandon Ligthart enjoys keeping active in the great outdoors. He surfs, kite surfs, mountain bikes, rock climbs and runs for fitness.
