As part of an Agile team I have helped Develop and optimize modular, SCORM compliant software for Digital Path products. In addition efforts to define innovations in Globalization of content and software are providing a path forward to a Global marketplace by being able to provide localized content in a modular and scalable manner.

This role has also involved working with the Platform team to perform platform integration and testing, as well as working to define and build a test harnesses to test web services that communicate with custom UI applications and extend the SCORM standard to facilitate localization goals.

In addition, on each project I have been involved in setting up and definition of the values for the Encapsulate Authoring tool, for the areas of the software that I was responsible for (template or project as appropriate).

In recent projects this has included working with the Architecture and Authoring teams to establishing data models and standards based values to be used at least for the project and in some cases going forward.

  • SCOverseer Bookmarklet

    • April 2011 to Present

Bookmarklet will allow you to view the status of SCORM 2004, SCORM 1.2 and AICC HACP sessions on a Learning Management Server. This is handy in the transparency of finding out how content is performing on the server. LMS with e-learning standards support is required for this bookmarklet to function.
Recently modified this to work with HTTP/HTTPS domains and added base support for AICC/SCORM 1.2.

  • SCORM Content API and Test Suite

    • December 2009 to Present

Open source SCORM API for content with SCOBot add-on for aiding common things Shareable Content Objects do. Written with the intent to modernize some of the older JavaScript written overtime and try to fold in test driven development thru QUnit tests that can also validate the Learning Management System's implementation. This is handy for people building content by hand, or if they take a template approach. Keeps you from nesting all your SCORM logic all over in your own projects. Also keeps you from having to re-write functionality needed to set and get values from a LMS. All the Wiki documentation on Github for anyone is interested.
