Brent Scarcliff’s Summary

I help my clients create rich, meaningful brands by delivering the ideal combination of strategy, research, and creative services. I believe in stories, and my particular gift is to tell them well, from just the right name to just the right result. I work through my own boutique branding agency and on behalf of leading advertising, design, and public relations agencies worldwide.

My background makes me the perfect choice for this sort of work. I'm a Marketing M.B.A. with a specialization in branding and naming. No surprises there. I'm a full-fledged, UCLA-trained linguist and mythologist who's equally at home with ancient and pop culture. A great story is a great story, from Beowulf to Beyonce. And, of course, I'm a creative powerhouse. You want your movie title tomorrow? No problem! Three traits serve me well. I'm intensely curious. I've got that of mind that readily makes those imaginative leaps you need to see things in a new way. And I'm decidedly down-to earth, capable of putting myself in any customer's shoes.

On a more personal note, I’ve got a lovely wife and three growing boys. I grew up right here in the Beach Cities, but I've also lived in Australia, New Zealand, Norway, and the Cook Islands. Travel is my favorite way to feed my imagination, and I also write thrillers and coach basketball and soccer.
