April 1993 — April 2001 (8 years 1 month)
The business started as a BBS based business using WildCat BBS software, later moving to WildCat 5 which allowed us to give our callers subscription based internet access. I handled all web solution needs and was a SysOp of the system to maintain customers. Later we moved on to more internet services including dedicated servers and shared hosting services. the company business was primarily a hosting business with T1 lines, many servers, and a huge customer base. I managed the hosting servers from my location and manage the servers and the T1 Lines on occasions when I was in the office. This was a ongoing business for awhile and we made some good profits from it while also maintaining my normal career as listed on this resume. Eventually we tried to bring in other partners and opened a store front in NJ where we also offered walk-in's to get their PC's repaired and to use the Net which work for a few months till the cost was draining all the partners and we just closed shop.
