November 2008 — February 2009 (4 months)
I was involved in a project aimed at increasing government transparency and data reusability by making data available for third-party reuse. This involved laying out the policy rationale for open government data, as well as formulating and implementing projects to achieve these goals. This combined technical work with efforts to communicate technical ideas, in writing and orally, to non-technical people. A blog post summarizing some of these ideas can be found at http://bit.ly/1D9LXv.
