I have worked in government, not-for-profit, and commercial sectors. I therefore have a range of workplace experiences to bring to different organisational contexts.
My key strengths are in leading and implementing knowledge management and information management solutions for organisational effectiveness. I have considerable management experience in leading teams and in managing staff, particularly knowledge workers. Some of the tools and processes I have initiated and managed include information audits, business ethnography, intranet design and web portals, communities of practice, learning logs, and web 2.0 applications. I am strategic and practical in analysing and determining an organisation's information and document needs, assessing organisational capabilities and constraints, and in delivering appropriate solutions. In recent times, I have also worked with educational outreach and developed learning activities for school and community education.
