Experienced and Proven Management Consultant
Austin, Texas Area
I am a progressive political advisor, consultant and campaign manager. Raised in Southern California, I have always been a prolific public speaker. I now use my natural aptitude and ability to share knowledge convincingly. I believe that the role of government is to empower its citizens and to be accountable to them, not the other way around.
I have worked on numerous campaigns in the Greater Austin Area, primarily in Williamson County. I work every day on the front lines of Democratic politics Central Texas. I have a great relationship with the local media and work closely with the local county party to bring additional recourses in to my candidate’s campaigns.
Most recently (2009) I consulted with City Councilwoman Patty Eason and led her to a re-election victory with 82% of the vote. I also managed Jaime Lynn’s campaign for Williamson County Attorney (2008) wherein he secured more votes than any other Democrat on the ballot with the exclusion of the Presidential and Chief Justice Candidates. The Lynn campaign received thousands more ballots than both the Senatorial and Congressional candidates and cut the margin of loss by 50% in a single election cycle.
I am experienced with the stress that running the day to day operations of a campaign require. I have the professional skill set required to work well under pressure and am ready at all times to execute decisions with exacting precision.

March 2009 — May 2009 (3 months)
Patty is a two term incumbent who won twice...unopposed. Her campaign is a grassroots to grassroots battle with less than 2000 registered voters in her single member district.
My responsibilities include but are not limited to messaging, strategy and field coordination.

Election Update. Patty won re-election with 82% of the vote.

I provide advice and guidance to the campaign. Specifically with regards to messaging, voter targeting and field.

Election Update. Antonio lost his election. The opponent had run for office 3 times prior and was a well known businessman in the community. With our limited fund raising ability we were unable to overcome the lack of name id.

February 2009 — May 2009 (4 months)
I recruited and served as Chairman for Carl Wake's campaign for Leander City Council. I was a key player in his policy papers and field strategy. We created the "Technology for Leader", "Coffee with the Council" and "Buy Leander First" initiatives.
***
Election Update. Carl lost his bid by 13 points. We only missed our projected win number by 18 votes, but voter turnout exceeded our projections by 22%. The influx of new single issue voters overwhelmed our underfunded field plan.

On the Jaime Lynn campaign I oversaw the daily operations with specific mention of communications, strategy, opponent research, press/the media, field planning, volunteer outreach/coordination and scheduling.
I personally scripted and coordinated three direct mail pieces. One of which was submitted for a POLI award. Our mail program caught the attention of the local media and paid nearly a dozen articles of free press as a dividend.

Election Update. Jaime lost his race for County Attorney, but he did secure nearly 8,000 more votes than the Congressional candidate and nearly 4,000 more votes than the Senatorial candidate. In fact the only Democrats on the ballot to get more votes than Jaime was Obama and Chief Justice candidate Woodie Jones. Woodie only received about 260 more votes than Jaime. We cut the the margin of loss in half in just one election cycle, all the while being out spent 2 to 1.

I was responsible to delegate retention communication within Williamson County. Scheduled, organized and trained volunteers for County Convention. Managed coordinated phone banks and scheduled meet-ups for Hillary supporters.

March 2006 — April 2007 (1 year 2 months)
I was responsible for a dozen employees and the entire pre-owned sales department. I handled a $400,000 annual advertising budget and managed $1,400,000 in inventory and credit. I evaluated and appraised every trade in and managed our wholesale department as well.
I made trips to Dallas, San Antonio, Houston, Las Vegas and Charlotte to buy vehicles for the dealership. At most of these auctions I would be appraising between 200 - 400 cars and then expending between $150,000 - $350,000.
During my tenure as Pre-Owned Sales Director my department hit and holds the volume and profit single month records. No manager since my departure has come close to hitting either.
