I recently accepted a position with Zachry Publications of Abilene, Texas. A publisher of several regional magazines and directories devoted to the oil & gas industry and a magazine and directory for the County Judges and Commissioners Association of Texas.

Public accounting had been the bulk of my professional experience. Primarily tax related, but with some audit and IT experience thrown in. My audit experience was primarily related to financial institution loan portfolio review.

I have also been involved in the Abilene Convention and Visitors Bureau for over 20 years. That experience and connection allowed me to participate in the Texas Forts Trail program and now the Frontier Texas ! attraction as we work to make the Abilene area attractive to visitors and their economic impact.
