Boon-Hau Teh’s Summary
I am well educated in computer programming, particularly in C and C++. I have also had over a year's worth of working experience with HTML, Perl, and PHP at a resource centre within the university. Since then I continued to apply my computer knowledge for two start-up companies: Cyber Courier (where I created and maintained PHP scripts) and CTU Soft (where I developed software in Java for mobile phones). I am also knowledgeable in other areas of computers, including graphics, hardware, application, and Internet. I am currently pursuing my interests and expanding my knowledge in Photoshop, Flash, AutoCAD, Form-Z, and Pro/ENGINEER.
Besides computers I pursue interests in visual arts, music, and physical activities. I have been the vice president of the E-Studio Art Club at the University of Toronto. I am also familiar with twelve various musical instruments through private lessons and self-learning. My physical activities include rock climbing, swimming, gymnastics, and martial arts training alongside stunt performers who have worked with names such as Jackie Chan and Chow Yun Fat. My first language is English, but I also have a fair understanding of basic Japanese and French, and I am currently upgrading my proficiency in Mandarin.
Through experiences as a vice president, tutor, and project architect of two companies, I have gained much ability in leadership, communication, and teamwork.
