Book Bouquet's founder and president, Kim Shanahan, conceived of Book Bouquet when she wanted to cheer up a sick friend in the hospital.

Books were just right to relieve her friend's boredom, but with her then two year old son at her side the thought of going to a bookstore, gift store and post office had Kim wishing for an easier and faster way! The lightbulb went off and Book Bouquet was born.

Our very first gift basket was the Boredom Buster get well gift. It is still one of our most popular gifts.
