Acting as an enthusiast & pro active hard-worker, my career path introduced me deeply in the EU Online Media/IT world, top WW players, Adv Media Agencies, e-commerce companies and IT distribution, System Builders, retail/e-tail companies.
My experiences and professional path demonstrate my entrepreneurial spirit, ambition and flexibility to adapt to new roles and working environments.
I am actually providing consultancies in two directions: to Online Media willing to boost their business, and for almost US/APAC based companies operating in IT/Hardware area willing to successfully enter the Italian/EU Market.
I also joined NetMediaEurope Italy with a Senior Sales Manager role, even if with a strong Business Development & Marketing oriented activity that led me to take care of multiple activities and support related BUs. Sales activity is direct with Corporate and PMI and Indirect managing deals with top Media Agencies. I am also in charge to sell Adv for the NME 3rd party represented websites. I am finally in charge to coordinate the international activities with the teams based in UK, FR, DE, SP, NL. I left the company in April 2009 due to the extreme financial crisis affecting the local business.
Most brilliant experience started in 2003, when I founded 3labs Srl. I took care almost of the Business Development (managing successfully start-up, national and international sales, top WW online media players partnerships, marketing, international operations/integration), making 3labs Srl highly remunerative. In 2008, 3labs Srl 100% shares have been sold to the Best Of Media Group.
I also had a long lasting experience in IT/TLC sales (both direct/indirect) marketing and Product Management of hardware and software complex solutions with Asus and a primary IBM parent corporate.
Expertise in new biz Start-up, BizDev, Adv Direct/Media Agency Sales, Media Partnerships, MarCom activities. Online Media & special projects planning, deep expert of Italian/WW top Internet players and rules, competition analysis, staff Managent.
Also, expertise in IT HW & SW complex Sales (direct/channel), Marketing, PM, operations managemet, Italian ICT solution distribution model, market & players, short/medium/long term forecasting and growth planning.

Consultancy activity is divided into the two following main BUs.
I provide consultancies to Online Media (both b2b/b2c) willing to develop and boost business in Italy and/or Europe, thanks to the skills and expertise I had the opportunity to mature during the long lasting experiences in 3labs S.r.l.(owner & founder, company shares remuneratively transferred to the BestOfMedia Group in July 2008), NetMediaEurope Group (formerly VNU / VNUnet – Italy) and while managing adv sales for top price comparison companies (www.trovaprezzi.it, www.shoppydoo.it).
Easiness to provide successful business plans and strategies, implement them, is based on a strong, visionary & heavily web 2.0 related conceptuality, supported by the contacts I've been able to develop and manage day by day with the Top Internet Players and Media Agencies in Italy, EU, APAC, US, during the last 7 yrs, spent as a successful Internet Editor Entrepreneur, almost entirely managing a company from its startup to the top 3 ranking in the related Nielsen category. SEO, UCG, special projects, lead generation activities, email/guerrilla/viral marketing, dealing on alliances agreements are the main goals besides usual sales organization.
The other main BU offers consultancies to almost US, Taiwan, HK and China based companies in IT/Hi-Tech/Hardware production/sales area, willing to successfully enter the Italian/EU Market. I provide them with local trade condition/visionary evolution, distribution/retailers/e-tailers/dealers/e-commerce channels info, promotion and marketing activities and priority players, competition analysis (SWOT), business planning & development (S/M/L term), HR selection, business startup, referring to CEOs and/or Top Business Development/Sales Management providing complex studies about strategies & techniques to implement.
I am frequently on business trips to Asia & US to visit customers/factories and deploy projects to top management of mid/large/corporate sized companies.

I joined the NetMediaEurope (NME) Group (formerly VNU / VNUnet, pan-European leading IT online Editor) with a Senior Sales Manager role, even if with a strong Business Development & Marketing oriented attitude that leads me to take care of multiple activities and support related Business Units.
Sales activity is direct with Corporate and PMIs, and Indirect managing deals with the top Media Agencies.
I am also in charge to sell advertising for the NME Group 3rd party represented websites. So, I cover the sales areas from b2b, to channel, to b2c.
I am finally in charge to coordinate the international sales activities with the teams based in UK, FR, DE, SP, NL. Adv products in my offer are evolved, so I do not limit the activity to propose standard display Advertising but I act as consultant to my customers offering almost special projects, as complex promotion products and Lead Generation programs.
I left the company due to the extreme financial crisis affecting the local business to dedicate to new challenges with enthusiasm and devotion.

In July 2008, 3 labs Srl 100% shares were sold to the Best Of Media Group, making the company part of a leading corporate ranking 3rd Worldwide and 2nd in Europe (Online Hi-Tech Publishers).
Besides maintaining my previous responsibilities and roles, I actively supported the merger related activities and administrative issues, orientating the change and the integration of 3labs Srl into the new Group.

I have managed the company since its start up, except for editorial activities. Promoter and subscriber of the licensee agreement with Tom’s Publishing AG in 2003.
Major time and effort was dedicated to the achievement of sales targets, from direct sales and local/international partnerships, with brilliant and proven results. Also responsible for the coordination of the whole business. I used my passion and enthusiasm to achieve a constant growth in revenues and in readership (we were ranked 3rd in Nielsen Ratings in IT News field when I left to start new challenges).
In charge for defining strategies for s/m/l term. Company started with 2 people (founders) and counts when I left was supported by more than 15 employees/freelancers.
Also responsible for the recruitment of new staff. I also deal with the Administration (Tax and Legal, Finance, etc.) and fund raising.

Key Account & Product Manager, responsible for Business Development. Responsible for retaining existing customers and generating new creative business with top Italian distributors. Sales goals regularly over-performed.
Major effort and time has been dedicated to the achievement of sales targets, while managing existing key accounts (top Italian distributors) studying the market and dealing on agreements with new partners, with excellent results. While partnering with distribution, I supported in bringing Asus products into mass distribution (Auchan, Mediaworld/Mediamarkt, etc.). Asus position in notebook sales grew to the 3rd place during this period. Actively involved in the localization of products configurations, pricing, availability allocation, customer satisfaction management and channel (sub-distributors, Asus Points) support.
Acted as Product Manager for wireless Products, opening a dedicated distribution channel and defining the strategies to promote the product line.

Started as Sales Executive, then promoted to the Channel Development Management for IBM Pos Solutions Sales (Hardware & Software complex solutions, targeting large distribution Food & Retail Industries).
Major effort and time has been dedicated to the achievement of POS Solutions sales targets in the 1st phase, and while Sales Account, responsible for opening a completely new customers portfolio. While being promoted to Channel Business Development Manager, I took care of managing existing sales partners and developing agreements with new resellers throughout the whole Italian territory by assisting them in achieving assigned sales targets, ensuring their competence and organizing educational sessions.

Often at the Basel HQ, company was almost German speaking and well growing on the Italian territory.
