Owner, Bomb Shelter Rehearsal Studios
Greater Los Angeles Area
Currently Own and Manage a rehearsal studio facility that includes a recording studio and a guitar repair shop. 2000-present.
Still look forward to growing my business in many areas. I think there is always room for improvement. Rehearsal Studios are one of the least talked about areas of the music/entertainment industry, but are also one of the most necessary tools for musicians. Unfortunately the general perception of rehearsal studios is dirty, smelly, dim lit, unsafe, gear that is not well maintained and staff members who are unhelpful and possibly are "on" something. I want to change all of those perceptions and raise the bar here in Orange County as to how studios are run and what they offer the musicians they serve. I want to offer a comfortable, positive, creative environment where everyone feels at home and well taken care of.
We are currently working on implementing a computer software system that will help us keep detailed client information as well as get our scheduling computerized in addition to being available for our clients to book time online 24/7. We will be able to generate email receipts, do gift cards, and keep track of client preferences such as which rooms they like, or what gear they like to use. This will really be an amazing tool for us, helping things run more smoothly and eliminate any errors in scheduling. Keep checking back as we get this up and running!

Gopher Baroque Productions no longer exists. I Booked and Managed clients and sessions at a commercial multi-room recording facility. Interfaced with interns and hired other musicians and engineers for sessions with clients. Became familiar with the entire process of recording, learned how to work with musicians and artists providing outstanding customer service. We included additional services at the complex that benefited our recording clients such as a mastering suite, rehearsal studios, graphic design w/cd duplication, and guitar repair/maintenance.
