David Boleas completed his studies in Art, Graphic Design and an MA in User Interface Design in Spain where he is originally from. He started his career in the videogames industry as user interface designer and has two titles published.
He moved to London in 2002 where he started working in Print and Web for various agencies including Me Company, Sega and for brands such as Shell, Pennzoil, Fox, Paramount, Mattel, The FA, American Express and MTV.
In 2005 he joined Green Cathedral as Senior Interactive Designer in their London office. The following year in February 2006 he joined Dare Digital as Senior Creative Designer and in March 2007 he was appointed to a Creative Lead position, looking after the production on the Sony and Vodafone accounts, helping the agency generate new accounts and win Campaign and Marketing Agency of the Year in 2007. He’s also won several accolades from his peers, Silver Pencil at the One Show in 2008 and a Weeby Award the same year. He left Dare Digital in November 2008 to pursue a new project, Pirata.
