Bojan worked for 5 years in the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at The University of Zagreb (Croatia) till 2002, when he moved to New Zealand. He was the team leader in several enterprise security projects for large customers, as well as a member of several Incident Response Teams in Croatian CERT. At the University of Auckland he architected and implemented the entire enterprise e-mail system.
During his free time he writes a security column for a leading Croatian computer magazine, and is also author of a book “What are computer viruses?” published in Croatia.
Bojan holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and a Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE).
Since October 2005., Bojan is also a GCIA (GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst) and member of the SANS Advisory Board.
In May 2007. Bojan became a GCIH (GIAC Certified Incident Handler).
Bojan is also one of the handlers at the Internet Storm Center (ISC - http://isc.sans.org).
Bojan was a co-author for a chapter in the book "AVIEN Malware Defense Guide for the Enterprise", available from Amazon.
Since December 2007 Bojan is working as a Senior Security Consultant at INFIGO IS, a privately held company specializing in security consulting and penetration testing.
