Manager of Communications and Marketing at SWANA
Washington D.C. Metro Area
At 27, I have been a speaker at numerous ASAE & the Center Conferences with scores as high as 4.5/5.0. As a result of these speaking engagements, I have been appointed as the face-2-face learning chair for ASAE and the Center's Young Professionals Council and more recently, I've been invited to speak on some of these technologies.
I've been an employee of the Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA) for just under 5 years where I've filled 4 roles - E-Training & Certification Coordinator, Training Program Manager, Training Manager and most recently Manager of Communications and Marketing - and I'm only warming up.
I am hoping to further develop my knowledge within association management in the hopes that I can someday lead an organization or perhaps help other organizations. I plan to continue to grow and learn the various areas of association management with the goal to have a good base when I prepare for my CAE (I'm eligible Nov. 2009).
Depending on time, I hope to continue to develop my presence through my blog and other activities. In 2009 I plan to refocus my area of expertise and start to tap into some other areas outside of web2.0. I'm not what yet - but feel free to email me with any suggestions.
Feel free to connect or drop me a line anytime,
Thanks for reading,
bob
