Bob LeDrew’s Summary

I've been in the word business since 1987, when I started working as a freelance writer. Since then, I've freelanced, worked as a print and broadcast journalist, and moved to the 'dark side' of public relations.

As a public relations practitioner, I've spent time as a self-employed consultant, in the educational sector, and at a PR agency. I was Canada's first PR blogger, starting my blog Flacklife (at http://www.flacklife.blogspot.com) in April 2003, and I was PR columnist for the national CBC Radio program "The Business Network" for seven years.

I've got a passion for social media and for creative solutions to pressing problems. While I don't look forward to crises, I have to admit I find them exhilarating experiences for communicators.
