Led the development of the G-3/5/7 Data Transformation Plan to transform how the organization standardizes and utilizes data. Served as the Army representative to multiple Army and Department of Defense (DOD) IT boards, including the Joint Staff Warfighter Mission Area (WMA) IT domain board, the Army Portfolio Management Solution (APMS) board, and the EMDS Configuration Control Board (CCB). Led the re-development of Army Regulation (AR) 10-47 in order to establish agency functions and support responsibility for current wartime operations via the Army Operations Center (AOC). The AOC is a 24/7 operations center.

Dogged determination and a will to succeed culminated with 39% of the vote in November 2008.
