“NCAA Athletes love Game-Day!”

While at LSU, Bobby worked as a tutor in the Athletic Department. He recognized that he had to make lessons and concepts “come alive” to stick with the Student Athletes through test time. “Everyone loved ‘Game-Day’, hated practice, but loved the results: Championships.” To complete the requirements for a degree in something other than “Eligibility”, Bobby created simple and creative approaches to instill confidence.

“Banking has its own set of rules.”

While working with bank presidents, directors, and auditors, Bobby learned how to teach them technical principles with simple concepts. He found that most bank presidents and directors were successful athlete-types, who tutored him in turn.

“Always look behind the curtain.”

Through his work, Bobby discovered three distinct types of dangers that clients face. He began to question what he had learned from so-called wizards of the financial field, and was upset that he had believed these people - even paid money to learn from them! Because of this, he began to look behind the curtain at everything he was taught.

“Drop-Kick that financial plan!"

After receiving a certification, Bobby soon realized that typical financial planning was neither for him, nor his clients. “It simply did not work. They hated it. They hated the exhausting practice of number crunching, the curtains of assumptions, and the hidden product pitches made by typical planners.” Bobby’s clients needed a better mindset and system for their success, independence, and give them new capabilities.

Today, Bobby’s clients benefit from his unique, non-typical message. It comes alive because it is principle-based, rather than product-based. They love it because they confidently understand the principles and stick to them with Championship results.
