Managing Director & Owner, Blue Snapper - Internet Marketing www.bluesnapper.com
Oxford, United Kingdom
I have over 20 years experience in a variety of senior technical, sales and marketing roles. Some would say this makes me a ‘rounded’ professional…
I have a B.Eng Hons degree in Electronic Engineering from Liverpool University. Though this qualification was never used in anger (apart from a bit of R&D on a fibre-optic gyroscope!), it has given me the ability to apply a technical insight into my client’s business development activities.
I’m passionate about Internet marketing - which makes me slightly geeky - but I hope this is balanced by my ability to apply it in a business context. I’m a certified Google Advertising Professional with expertise in SEO, paid search, web analytics and web-to-lead conversion optimisation.
My business background? I was Director of Corporate Marketing for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) at Remedy Corporation, a provider of IT service management solutions. Before Remedy, I was VP of Business Development & Marketing at Network Managers, a developer of Enterprise network management software. In the dim and distant past, I used to design data comms networks and repair aircraft flight systems.
Lead generation and relationship marketing through online channels: paid search (PPC), website & Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), web conversion optimisation and web analytics.
