Internet Consultant and Contractor
Birmingham, United Kingdom
My development career started in 2000 when I became a programmer for a small software house in Birmingham, UK. In 2005 I left to establish my own consultancy, then had to seek employment.
I'm very happy working with a promiment marketing group, but still like to keep my hand in with web development projects for small and micro-businesses.
XHTML, CSS, ASP.NET, SQL Server, MySQL, accessibility, W3 compliancy

Mark’s an accomplished developer with a great deal of commercial experience. He’s a real advocate for the use of ASP.NET as a force for creative Web development and tries to rescue its reputation as a business-only platform.
Mark is a good writer, with an excellent command of the English language and a great eye for detail. He’s a more-than-capable Web designer and Flash animator, but his skills lie with developing and building Web applications.

MSO Media was a web consultancy I ran from a bedroom in Billsley for a short time. I learned a lot and it was a great experience: made a lot of mistakes but then, that's often the best way to learn!
All in all, no regrets.
