Regional New Media Specialist
Sam Adams Alliance
(Non-Profit; 11-50 employees; Internet industry)
2008 — Present (less than a year)
Developing New Media alliances, communities and networks at state and local levels across the United States. The areas of New Media currently being focused on are Blogging, Wikis, Podcasting, Vlogging and Internet Radio.
The primary tool for accomplishing the goal is a series of day long workshops in specifically targeted states and cities to increase both the quality and number of New Media activists in the state. -
Founder
The Tennessee ConserVOLiance (Sole Proprietorship)
(Sole Proprietorship; Myself Only; Online Media industry)
November 2007 — Present (1 year)
The Tennessee ConserVOLiance is an alliance of Right of Center (RoC) New Media Activists from across the entire state of Tennessee. The ConserVOLiance provides a central location for people seeking news and commentary on individuals and issues of the day from a RoC perspective.
At this time we have members in 14 of Tennessee's 95 counties. I'm
working toward the goal of having 2 or 3 members in each country.
The members choose their own material and we currently have contributors in a wide variety of fields such as Education, Legislation, Elections and more. -
Owner
Blue Collar Muse Media (Sole Proprietorship)
(Sole Proprietorship; 1-10 employees; Internet industry)
October 2006 — Present (2 years 1 month)
Blue Collar Muse started as my pen name at my blog of the same name. It was there that I developed my skills and the relationships that would later grow BCM to what it has become.
From "just a blogger" on politics, national and international events and policy of the Center/Right persuasion, I've branched out to become a podcaster and public/conference speaker and behind the scenes advocate in the fields of eActivism, eOrganization, eTraining and development.
Thus Blue Collar Muse has today become more of an umbrella covering my work and association with such groups as Conservablogs.com, RedState, The New Media Alliance, The Tennessee ConserVOLiance and more.
