Making things. Currently doing a deep dive into Django, the 'web framework for perfectionists with deadlines,' to deliver a few client sites. These folks need web sites and applications that fit their businesses like comfortable gloves in a Michigan winter.

Toolkit tag cloud: content management systems, social networks (Facebook platform, advertising ecosystems), and whatever else it took to get the job done.
Client industry tag cloud: internet marketing, nonprofit management support, nonprofit social service, social media + networking, various pithy startups.
A highlight for me was helping organize and facilitate ArbCamp, a one-day open space event held in October 2007. For the 100+ people who participated, I think it gave a taste of what things could be like here if we were just a little better connected and if we had just a little stronger and more readily available infrastructures to build on.
